I contacted ProCore Foundation Repair in Ottawa primarily because of its comprehensive range of services, including foundation crack repair, basement waterproofing, and structural repairs.
The company provides warranties (minimum of 15 years, transferable on all foundation repairs), which means if I decide to sell my property within this period, the warranty can be transferred to the new owner. That enhances my property’s value!

I’ve worked with Renco twice now, first in late fall when I had a surprise leak and needed a quick interior patch and again in the summer with an exterior follow-up. I received a number of quotes but found Terry’s to be the clearest in terms of the required work, with a scalable job that met my needs. Both times I worked with Terry, he and the team were super reliable and communicative. Many of the other foundation quotes I got didn’t provide this level of communication or seemed to care about diagnosing the issue. Though it’s not BBB-accredited, I looked up Ottawa Foundation Repair upon the gushing recommendation of my next-door neighbour, who booked the company for an alarming basement leak.
Aside from giving free estimates, its fees per linear foot are within standard pricing ranges. Its team also demonstrated knowledge of Ottawa’s unique climate and offered the installation of weeping tile systems to mitigate pressure from both soil and water.
All of this was patiently explained to me, even though I had already made an appointment with another company for my waterproofing concerns. I appreciated this level of professionalism.
I did note some issues about communication from past clients, and an unresolved complaint on record at BBB. Here’s hoping the company addresses and resolves it soon.

When my mom’s basement started leaking, an EC Foundations representative inspected two water leaks and quickly identified that one was a plumbing issue, and the other was due to roof drainage.
She appreciated the team’s honesty and how they didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work. The company also provided a 10-year warranty on the work, and its clean-up was so precise, my mom swears the entire area looked virtually untouched.
The team informed us that it uses only Bituthene 3000 LT membranes, a high-performance water sealant. Aside from foundation waterproofing, EC also specializes in repairing structural deficiencies and foundation crack mitigation.
Admittedly, there was a bit of a sticky wicket with scheduling due to high demand, especially during the wet season. But its free assessment and estimates, plus an A+ rating and BBB accreditation, make up for it.
